Senior Surety Consultant Kim Moore Will Speak the ABA Fidelity & Surety Law Conference

SANTE FE, New Mexico – March 5, 2018. Kim Moore, Senior Surety Consultant and Senior Account Manager at On Point Risk Solutions and ICW Group, will speak at the 2018 Fidelity & Surety Law Spring Conference, “Managing and Litigating the Complex Surety Case.” The conference will be held May 10-11 in Sante Fe, New Mexico.

Moore will join other surety claims professionals, construction managers and attorneys for a panel discussion titled, “Proving and Defending Time Impact Claims in Construction Projects.” This in-depth discussion will cover many relevant topics including:

• Assessing the surety’s liability for delay damages
• Defenses available to the surety for delay damages
• The surety’s right to pursue a claim for delay damages
• The role of a good delay expert and critical path analysis

Moore is a 20-year insurance industry veteran. She was senior counsel at the American Insurance Association (AIA) dealing with surety and construction matters. While at the AIA, Moore worked on legislature tied to suretyship and served as Committee Secretary for the Surety and Fidelity Committee and Construction Issues Sub-committee. Moore also held a senior level surety claims position at USF&G/St. Paul Traveler. She is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars.
